Laura Jackson is co-author and illustrator of children's book series Badger the Mystical Mutt. She has toured over 1500 schools, libraries and book festivals over the years, culminating in a BBC radio documentary "Mystical Mutt" by Dabster productions. Amongst others she has illustrated for Trusthouse Forte, The Medical and Dental Defence Union of Scotland, Giant productions Glasgow, BBC Scotland, Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading and Partnerships for Well Being. She was invited to be the artist for the BBC Scotland programme "restoration". During lockdown she co-authored, with Lyn McNicol, illustrated and filmed the video stories Tales from Ochwinnay and Gabriel's Dilemmas. Tales from Ochwinnay will be released as a short story book for children in 2024.
